17h00 - 21h00, Coexist Community Kitchen, Mivart Street Studios, Unit 10, Epstein Building, Bristol BS5 6JF

We’re back with one last cooking class before the end of 2026!

Join us for a delicious experience where you'll create a selection of stunning vegan canapés that will steal the spotlight at your Christmas dinner!

During this class, we’ll be working with a variety of vegetables, grains and plant-based proteins while also mastering your presentation skills. Get hands-on cooking with some of the signature canapés we serve at our events, with Chef Carmen guiding you step-by-step on how to recreate them at home using a variety of ingredients.

During the class, you will learn dishes like:

  • Cheesy polenta bites, smoked beetroot romesco, pickled kohlrabi roses

  • Indonesian corn fritters, sticky oyster mushrooms

  • Truffle potato nests, roasted Jerusalem artichoke & butter bean mousse, balsamic caviar

But your experience doesn't end when the cooking is done: you'll have the opportunity to invite a friend, partner or family member to join you for dinner and enjoy the delicious feast you've created during the class. Dinner tickets are available via the ‘Add-on’ link above.

Level: The class is suitable for beginners and experienced cooks looking to expand their knowledge and repertoire.
Contents covered: Cooking plant-based proteins and vegetables with different cooking techniques, plating and serving suggestions.
Allergies: Dishes will contain soy, gluten, sulphites, tree nuts and sesame. However, we can adapt the class to be nut- and gluten-free upon request.
Class duration: 17h00 - 21h00, 4 hours, including eating time.
Extras: you will be given a recipe booklet each to take home. The booklet will include the recipes covered during the class and extra tips to adapt the recipes and/or create new ones.
Note: this class is adult-only. Due to limited space, equipment and the convivial nature of the class, single and odd-number bookings will be combined to work in pairs.
